Description

Genetics: Gelato #33 x Forbidden Fruit

Type: Indica Hybrid

Seed Type: Feminized

Flowering: 9 weeks

Yield: Good

Gelato was created through a cross of the famous Sunset Sherbet x Girl Scout Cookies. This tasty strain is famous for its delicious flavor. This strain has a sweet sherbet flavor, with fruity blueberry and orange. The aroma is just as sweet, with a lavender citrus berry bouquet.

Although seeds may vary in phenotype expression, the cut that was used to make these seeds was Gelato #33 (aka Larry Bird cut), which is said by many to be the most desirable cut of Gelato.

With Forbidden Gelato, we were able to obtain the breeder’s cut of Forbidden Fruit that was the loudest purple strain we have ever encountered. Forbidden Gelato combines the LOUD sweet, rotten fruit terps with the exotic cookies and fruit terpenes of Gelato #33. Phenos will produce varying amounts of purple colors.

  1. What a stable strain, she’s an amazing one to grow always know where she in in the garden because she’s always praying happy and loving the light. Most insane terps creamy lemon gas that burns in a cone with a rezzin ring all the way down. Make sure she has multiple tops and plenty of room for stretch. 800ppm in veg 1100 I. Flower. And she will reward you with slight purple big dense buds. Home run on this one elev8. I hope to grow again very soon

    • Thank you for your review Daniel! We love Forbidden Gelato too 💚 We hope to hear from you in our growers community and look forward to fulfilling your future order with Elev8 🌱

  2. Gelato #33 x Forbidden Fruit
Has been an amazing plant to grow.all the seeds poped and grew easy for me.they started life in a glass of water for 20 hours and then into a wet paper towel onto a glass plant and I sat it in a warm dark kitchen cabinet for 3 days and every day I checked up on them to make sure the paper towel was damp.then once I saw they had a half inch tap root I then put them into foxfarm Loco coco dirt.i then used a spay bottle to water them with every day.the dirt dried out quick because I had a small fan blowing on them all the time.they grew in the solo cups for about a month and then I put them into a 5 gallon bucket and I fed with general hydroponics as directed on the bottles.i used there 3 part nutrition with there cal mag as directed.i low stressed trained them and I toped them about 3 or 4 times to keep the canopy even.and man they came out so pretty and so beautiful. You ever grew a plant that was so pretty that you really did not want to cut it down? Well this is the one that you do not want to cut down for real.the colors are so pretty with the dark green leaves in veg and the deep dark purple leaves in flower.this is such a simple and easy plant to grow.i felt like everytime I toped it or low stressed trained it that it grew even faster and better.so these plants loved to be bent over and twisted on hard.and they love good good air flow.alot of air sure made them happy but not the kind of air to push them over to make them fall but the kind of air that moves the leaves around but not move the branches so a nice soft moving kind of air they loved.the plant got so big I had to put a second fan on the other side of her to keep her happy.thus was just an amazing from start to finish.o yea and I did take clones from it like I do to all the good plants we get and the clones to so fast and so easy it was amazing to.just cut them at a 45 dredge angle and made sure they were over 6 inches and I take them from the bottom of the plant to mid way up and all I did was cut it off the main plant and put them in a glass of regular tap water they sat in that cup for about 30 mi utes then I died the ends of the clones into the clonex that I dip all my clones in and then into the root riot cubes and then I put them into a dome and I ran out of room so one went into a solo cup and I put a zip lock bag over it and they all did great.i wish I could add a picture but I don’t see where to do this at.but trust me it looks like something that would be on the front of a hightimes magazine with all the beautiful triclones on her covered in frost from the buds to the leaves.man that’s making my mouth water just thinking about it.so I got to go because I got to go roll me one up to smoke now.i hope you enjoyed my comment.i grew these under two difrent lights and they all came out the exzact same.one light was the mars hydro fce3000 and the other light was a marshydro fce6500.thanks so much elev8 for giving us some real nice true and clean strains to grow.we only get to grow 4 plants at a time so it’s nice to actually get what you paid for and that is exactly what this was 100% hands down.

  3. thought i should check in and let everyone know that 1 year after purchase these seeds still popped(germinated) on day 3 and are doing fabulous almost a month in… same ting can be said for the forbidden melon seeds irie… thank you elev8…

  4. I grew this strain indoors in a legalized state. One seed germinated, planted and grew into a beautiful plant. She was easy to grow and always let me know her needs using Fox Farm Trio in 5 gal fabric pot. 8 weeks veg and 60 days of flower under MarsHydro TSW3000. This plant yielded 4 ounces from this novice grower. The flowers are completely covered in trichomes, are super dense and sticky and have a berry-like smell. The effects are like an intense euphoria, becoming like a spy to hide your highness and certainly makes you feel like royalty for a few hours. Thanks for awesome genetics, this one is a keeper.

Q & A

Are these f3 generation? Corey V Robinson asked on December 9, 2023

Hello again, we noticed you posted this question on our Breeders Box Vol 2 aswell, here's our answer again! Feminized seeds become unstable and herm when taken past the first generation. This is the reason why breeders like us only cross first generation when making feminized seeds, to ensure stability. None of the seeds we make are crossed past first generation for this reason. Hope this helps!
